Contexte

Second-year final project For ISART DIGITAL: Each group is tasked with designing a game engine from scratch, including a minimal set of functionalities. The distinguishing factor lies in how each group sets its engine apart from others. Furthermore, developing an editor for the engine was a requirement. Additionally, the team was expected to create a game using this editor, thereby showcasing the unique functionalities of our engine.

Description

We have decided to focus our engine's design on accessibility, which revolves around three key points:
1. Complete key remapping to assist individuals with motor disabilities, making it easier for them to play the game.
2. Daltonian mode in the editor, enabling Level Designers to check levels and ensure color accessibility for color-blind players.
3. Customizable and automatic subtitle system for individuals with hearing impairments, providing a better gaming experience for the deaf or hard of hearing.
